There is a doctor on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year. In an emergency please telephone 0844 477 3530 and you will be given the number to ring for an emergency doctor. In line with other practices in the area, the doctors use the services of the Preston Primary Care Centre for all out of hours cover.
Please remember that, if you are asked to attend the centre, you must provide your own transport. The services of the PPCC are strictly limited to emergencies which cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed, you can also call NHS Direct to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
