Child Health Clinic
Tuesdays - 11.00am to 1.00pm.
The practice provides a full child health service for all its children up to the age of five years. Immunisation and developmental checks are carried out in conjunction with the health visitors attached to the practice. They are in attendance to give help, advice and support on a weekly basis. This is a very popular clinic where you may discuss any problems with the health visitor, practice nurse or doctor, or simply get to know other mothers with young children in your area. Please arrive before 12.30pm if you are attending for immunisations.
Contraception
All the partners and the practice nurses provide advice on all methods of contraception, including fitting caps/coils. This, like all services provided by the practice, is completely confidential.
Coronary Heart Disease Prevention Clinic
The practice holds a healthy heart clinic each week and appointments may be booked via the receptionists on 0844 477 3530.

To discuss your requirements please make an appointment to see one of the practice nurses, allowing plenty of time prior to travel.
Counselling
If you are troubled by anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems etc and would like to see a counsellor at the health centre, this can be arranged by your doctor.

Most services supplied at the health centre are covered by the NHS but some are classed as “private services”. This list is not exhaustive and further details are available from reception.
