Patient Reference Group

Chairman’s Update: January 2012

As many of you will be aware the Patient Reference Group has been meeting with the doctors to discuss practice developments and following the recent questionnaire you have signalled that the 0800 phone number was the main concern.

There is no easy answer to this as there are pros and cons with whatever system is in place. However we have discussed the concerns with the doctors and due to meet them again in February to hopefully agree an Action Plan to address the problems.

We will keep you informed and, in the meantime, would welcome any other ideas you may have to develop the services at the practice.

  1. blue_yellowRepeat Order Slip - attached to your repeat prescription.  Please tick the items you need and try to re-order all of your regular medication at the same time Please note that from time to time we may use the re-order slip to pass on important messages to our patients. For safety and accuracy, we would also like to discourage patients from placing additional verbal or handwritten requests for medication, and remind patients of the Minor Ailments Scheme available at your local Community Pharmacy, leaflets available on request.   You can send in your repeat slip to the surgery by one of the following methods:-
