Salaried General Practitioner

Our successful and high-achieving semi-rural village practice is looking for a positive and enthusiastic GP to join our clinical team due to retirement on a salaried basis.   Newly qualified GPs are encouraged to apply !

We are an innovative and forward thinking busy practice and together our clinical triaging team and community visiting clinicians work alongside our First Contact Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner and Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner to deliver high quality patient care.   
Working together with our Pharmacy team and Nurse & Wellbeing teams safe patient care is our main focus area in all aspects of the practice and our clinical teams are well supported by our hardworking and friendly Patient Services, Secretarial & workflow teams.

What we are looking for:

We are flexible in the number of sessions either:
6 sessions - Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday

8 sessions  - Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday /Thursday

We would like you to be:

Currently registered GP on the Performers List and with the GMC, with a right to work in the UK.
Willing to make an active contribution towards the continuing success of our practice.
Keen to work collaboratively with our clinical and administrative staff recognising our team values.
Prepared to work as a team and assist with x 1 variable triaging clinician day and up to x 2 visits a day where patient need requires
Prepared to work as a team and assist with results, prescriptions and clinical admin for our teams on a Buddy system where patient need requires

We are an EMIS / Surgery Connect site using Accurx & Scribe
We have an engaging and established Patient Participation Group with a Patient Safety representative Lead
Monthly clinical meetings inclusive of IPC, H&S & Safeguarding reviews
Additional Monthly MDTs with designated co-ordinator and lead
Designated Care Home team for x 3 local care homes
