GPs in Training

Our practice is approved to train fully qualified doctors who wish to specialise in general practice. 

Occasionally we may ask permission to video a consultation.

You will always be asked in advance and are given the option not to take part as part of your informed consent, and this will not affect your care in any way.

No recording will be taken without your consent and the camera will be switched off on request.

These videos are used only for educational purposes with the doctor doing the consultation and are destroyed after use.

Medical Students / Placements

Medical students are assigned to the practice as part of their training and as part of our ongoing committment to being a Training practice. 

If you do not wish a student to be present during your consultation, please inform the Patient Services Team either at point of booking or upon your arrival.  You have a right to choose.

In order to ensure that our teams continue to learn, ongoing training takes place at the practice throughout the course of the working day
